Solar PV can be a daunting research project to tackle. We all want to be green, environmental, and to save on energy bills, and solar can be a great way to do that.
But is it right for you? We wanted to build a simple-ish calculator that shows the potential of solar for your home.
We’re going to use your specific energy bills, location, system size, solar production numbers, inflation, and more so you can see what 25 years of savings and return on investment data looks like.
Give it a go! It might take a little homework, such as using numbers from your solar proposals, and/or designing your own system using PVWatts or other tools. And please feel free to ask your questions in the comments section below.
